Camino Hills is a gated community of 145 manufactured homes on permanent foundations. There are some terrfic views in this community, and to live on a hilltop location in Carlsbad for this price is amazing! Homes in this area don't turn over very quickly, and there are many times when nothing is for sale. But if there are any available, this is an excellent neighborhood to consider. Community amenities include a clubhouse, exercise room, pool, spa, tennis courts, and RV parking.   Here's a street scene in Camino Hills. Notice how the homes are very well maintained. The homes were mostly built in the late 1980s, range from 1400-2000 square feet, and are priced in the low $200,000s and $300,000s.

Homeowner fees are currently $221 per month and includes common area maintenance, trash pickup, a gated community, and all amenities. Annual real estate taxes are estimated to be 1 1/4% of the purchase price.
