Costa Serena

Costa Serena is a neighborhood of homes built in the 1970s. The area is unique, with very low homeowner fees ($36 per YEAR), and low housing costs. Since there are minimal fees, there are no gates, pools, or clubhouses. It's a very affordable way to own a home 3 1/2 miles from the ocean. Some homes have terrific views that would cost much more in other areas. Yes, that's an ocean view in the picture above! If you want to have a backyard where you can have a garden or a few fruit trees, then this community is an excellent choice. Since there are no homeowner fees, you are responsible for all maintenance on your property. These homes are half-duplexes, connected at the one-car garages. Built in the early 1970s, the homes range from 827-1200 square feet. Here's a typical street scene in Costa Serena. Prices run in the high $100,000s to the mid $200,000s.
