This is a good one! The Four Seasons is a brand new community that I'm excited about! Located in Hemet in Riverside County, this active adult community is an instant winner. So if you're looking for a new single-story 55+ community and don't want to be way out in the desert, this is the one for you.
The Four Seasons Hemet consists of over 1100 homes built around the Hemet Golf Club, a public 18 hole championship course. As of 2011, K. Hovnanian is selling the final homes and the community will soon be built out.
The climate in Hemet is excellent. The elevation is about 1400 feet above sea level and the average rainfall is 13 inches per year. There's usually a very pleasant breeze. The average temperature is 70 degrees, with a minimum of 38 degrees, and only a few days above 100 degrees. Humidity is only around 25% which makes even the warmest summer days enjoyable, and the nights are always cool for comfortable sleeping.
Here's a picture of the brand-new clubhouse, known as "The Lodge". Indoor amenities include a fitness center, a ballroom, card rooms, arts & craft studio, billiards room, and a theater.
Outdoor amenities include tennis courts, a lap pool and spa, barbecue, bocce ball court, horseshoe court, and a shuffleboard court.
This is a peek of one of the greens at the Hemet Golf Club. Fees range between $35 and $50 depending on the day of the week. Rates include use of a golf cart and a warm-up bag of range balls.

Part of the street of models. There are 13 floorplans, ranging in size from 1444 square feet to 2775 square feet, all on one level. Prices start in the high $100Ks for the smallest homes, to the mid $300Ks for the largest homes on the golf course.

Here's a kitchen in one of the model homes. This particular home is a little over 2000 square feet, and sells in the low $200Ks.
Homeowner fees are $165 per month. Annual taxes are approximately 1.7% of the purchase price, including Mello-Roos tax.
